Our Story
Lighthouse Center Bakery started baking bread in a simple wood-fired brick oven in the hills overlooking the Umpqua River of southern Oregon. We’ve been baking bread this old-fashioned way since 1998 and selling our bread and other baked goods at local farmers’ markets since 2006. In 2009, we built our 4th brick oven and opened a bakery, café, and store in Umpqua! We warmly welcome everyone and thank you for your kind and generous support.
